====Multi-Site Modes==== ARDI allows you to host several databases at once. This is ideal for when you have several small applications. You can simply use a single physical or virtual server to host content for a number of applications / sites / territories at one time. You can change the multi-site mode from **Administration**, under **General Options**. {{ :ardiadminguide:multisiteoptions.png?400|}} There are three distinct multi-site modes available, which allow you to tailor your system to specific markets. ===Integrated Mode=== **Integrated** mode is the default. You use a single user database, and users can access any site from any other site. When they visit your server without specifying a site name, they are given a list of sites to choose from. //This is suitable for applications where a single customer has a number of smaller applications that users may want to connect to// ===Hide Subsites=== **Hide Subsites** has a shared list of users, similar to //integrated// servers. The main difference is that when you visit the server without specifying a site name, you'll be taken to the //default// site. //This is suitable for applications where you have a single 'main' database on a server, and some smaller development or training databases// ===Isolated=== **Isolated** mode gives each ARDI site it's own distinct set of users (meaning each has its own administrator). There is no shared list of sites available. //This is designed for multi-tennant applications where you have a number of users from **different organisations** sharing computer resources.
