====Property Types====

Every [[properties|property]] attached to your [[asset|assets]] has a //type//.

This describes the kind of information you'd like to store in the property. It also controls how ARDI (and its various clients) //display// the information to you.

It's pointless showing you the GPS coordinates of an asset as raw coordinates - but ARDI can instead show you the location of the item on a map.
