====Using Correlia==== You can discover the correlations between your assets by opening an asset dashboard and clicking on the 'Correlations' button. {{corel-dashboard.png|400}} This will open the **Asset Correlation Page**. ===The Correlation Page=== This page has a heading for every **property** your asset has. Underneath that is a list of all of the correlations the system has detected with other properties across your system. These may be //internal// properties (properties on the same asset, such as a machine having an 'actual' and a 'target' temperature that are strongly related), or they may be //external// properties, found on other assets in your system. {{correlpage.png|400}} ===Correlation Strength=== Each correlation has a given //strength//, expressed as description and a percentage. ^Correlation Quality^Percentage^ |Direct|100%| |Strong|>90%| |Indirect|>75%| //Direct// correlations are often control signals or other signals that move perfectly in-sync with one-another. Often, the target values sent from a control system will be directly correlated. //Strong// correlations can often indicate a **cause-and-effect** relationship between properties. For instance, a **target** speed often has a strong correlation with the **actual** speed, the **requested** position of a machine with the **current** position etc. These correlations aren't 100% due to lag in the signal or response, but are otherwise moving at the same times. //Indirect// correlations are quite weak - many of these won't be genuine and instead will be simply coincidental. However, this is also where you might discover unexpected links and relationships that show complex interactions. ===Correlation Detail=== Click on any of the correlations to see [[detail page|more detail]].
