===Using The Editor===

Although you're able to edit and maintain the 360 environment entirely online, //creating// new scenes and footage is a little more challenging.

We normally suggest recording video - using an off-the-shelf 360 camera such as models offered by GoPro - to create a walk-through of your plant.

This results in a very useful, but **very** large video file - one too large to be uploaded and processed by your ARDI server.

We offer a Windows-only **ARDI-360 Mapper** package to help turn your video footage into a sequence of 360 photos and scenes. This allows you to move through your video footage, specify where that location can be found on the map, and then handles creating and connecting your various pieces of 360 footage. 

===Manually===

If is also possible to create 360 assets manually.

   * Create a new asset named after the location.
   * Go to **Asset Tools** and choose **Create 360 Scene**
   * Follow the instructions for [[uploading_360_footage|uploading 360 footage]].
