====Example Searches====

These examples use our **Demo Server** to search for a few assets. These samples will hopefully get you comfortable with the flow of using the Asset Index.

===Get A List Of All Air Valves===

//Create a list of all **Air Isolation Valves**//

Visit [[https://demo.optrix.com.au/s/pl/alist/|this page]] and choose 'Air Isolation Valve' from the list of **types**.

===Get A List of All Valves===

//Create a list of **any type of valve**//.

Visit [[https://demo.optrix.com.au/s/pl/alist/|this page]] and choose 'Valve' from the list of **types**.

Note that the results include the items we found earlier.

===Get A List of All Running Equipment===

//Create a list of all pieces of equipment that have a are currently running using the 'Status - Running' property.//

Visit [[https://demo.optrix.com.au/s/pl/alist/|this page]] and choose **Status - Running** from the list of **properties**.

Next, choose **Running** from the available options to search for.

This will highlight all assets that are running right now.

===Add Columns to the List===

Continuing from the previous example, click the **Temperature - Exit**, **Equipment Tag** and **Location** boxes to make them dark. This will add them as extra columns to the table and export.

You can press **Download CSV File** to get a list of these assets.
