====Agency Examples====

The [[analytics example bundle]] includes a sample Agency deployment.

In the **Agency** folder, you'll find a file called **runagency.bat**. After [[example batch files|modifying the file]], you should be able to double-click it on Windows platforms to start the Agency service.

This creates a number of alerts that monitor our [[Paint Line Demo Site]]. 

You can see alerts appearing through the command-prompt, and they're also available through the [[agency:web_endpoint|REST interface]].

Thanks to the [[mos:welcome|Modular Output System]], you can also read the alert values from OPC-UA on port 2255. We'd suggest using a tool such as [[https://www.unified-automation.com/products/development-tools/uaexpert.html|UAExpert]] to read the published data.

===Example Alerts===

The Paint Line Demo uses a repeating set of data that has a few issues that should come up over-and-over again.

You may need to wait a minute or two for the issues to appear.

Although there are many alerts running, not all of them will actually happen. Events that //should// be present in the same data include...

* The **Painting Stopped** alert on the **Paint Line** asset. \\
* The **Strip Too Cold at Exit** alert from **Prime Oven Zone 1**. \\
* **Out Of Temperature Control** and **Not At Target PMT** alerts from **Oven Zones**. \\

Feel free to view some of the configuration files in the **/agents/** folder to see how these alerts are configured.
