====ARDI Analytics==== ------ **DEPRECATION WARNING: ARDI Analytics is no longer being actively developed. More powerful analytics are now possible using //Visual Analytics//, the //Agency// platform, //Capture// and the //Trigger// Python module.** ------ The ARDI analytic package allows you to deploy simple analytics based on live data. It is designed to allow our customers to create up-to-the-minute visualisations, KPIs and data summaries for use in other applications - such as Grafana - or to re-circulate back to ARDI for display and further use. The primary use-case for analytics is to //cache// data - to provide summaries or calculations that would otherwise be extremely expensive to load over long periods of time. The best example of this is [[heatmapping|heat-mapping]]. While creating heat-maps of short periods of time is relatively simple, producing heat-maps for larger periods (ie > 24 hours) can require a significant amount of time and can be taxing for your historian. By pre-calculating regular heat-map chunks and recording them to a database, you can quickly and easily load months of heat-map data at a time for display, reporting or analysis.
