====Auto Historian Link====

While some data sources are only suitable for live data and others are only suitable for historical, there are times - particularly with databases - where your sources can be **both**.

When both your live and your historical source share the same address (for example, the data for the value of the temperature in device R9925 is //R9925_Temp// for both a particular live data source **and** the historian), then you can use this addon to radically speed up setting up your data links.


===Configuration===

Like many addons, you can configure this one via the Administration menu.

When you enter the configuration for the addon, simply choose the //matching historian// for each of your live data sources.

Then, every time you assign live data to your asset, if there's a matching historian specified your history data is also automatically linked too.
