====Licensing====

Each installation of ARDI requires a server license.

These licenses are obtained from Optrix, or through your system integrator or other ARDI Partner.

Before your license can be generated, you'll need your [[server fingerprint|server fingerprint]], which can be downloaded from your ARDI server before it is licensed.

**Please ensure you are accessing ARDI with the //domain name// of your server when you generate the fingerprint**.

Each license is restricted to a particular DNS name or IP address, which is part of the information included with your fingerprint file. 

Each license is also limited according to the number of [[simultaneous users]], and the number of [[active elements]].

Once your first subscription payment has been confirmed, your license file will be sent to you electronically. 

It is uploaded using the ARDI web interface - simply visit the address of your ARDI server in a web browser.

If this is the first time you've licensed your ARDI server, you'll then be asked to pick a name for your default [[ARDI database|ARDI database]].

That's it - installation is complete.

To login, click 'Guest' in the top right corner, pick 'Login' and sign in with the default username and password - **admin** / **default**.

If you have trouble accessing your ARDI server from other computers on your network, you may need to open up your [[TCP Ports|firewall ports]].
