====Superuser====

The 'superuser' is the user with the highest level of access in ARDI and the only one who is able to create new [[Administrators|administrator]] accounts. 

When using an external user authentication mechanism (such as Active Directory), no user group may be linked to the superuser access level. It is reserved specifically for the **admin** user.

It is also the only user with permission to do a [[backup and restore|backup or restore]] of an [[ARDI database|ARDI database]].
