===Information===

OPC-DA is an older standard for communicating live industrial data between systems.

Although we [[moving_to_opc_ua|suggest upgrading your systems to the newer OPC-UA]] whever possible (this can be done using //OPC-UA wrappers//, leaving your existing infrastructure in place), we continue to support DA for legacy applications.

===Driver Settings===

This driver has two options.

|Address|The address of the OPC-DA host machine|
|Server Name|The name of the specific OPC-DA service to connect to on that machine|

===Point Settings===

OPC-DA points only have one setting - the **full address** of the point. 

DA addresses are separated by slash (/) characters.
