====Linked Properties====

All [[asset|assets]] can have [[properties|properties]].

However, some of those properties are **linked**, meaning that they are connected to live or historical information.

Information like temperature, pressure or flow rate are usually linked. This means that you can create charts that show information sourced from your information management systems. 

Information like model number, manufacturer, serial number etc. are often unlinked, meaning that they can't be charted. 

Clicking on a linked property on the [[dashboard|dashboard]] will take you directly to a [[ardiuserguide:getting_a_trend|live trend]].
