====Static Properties====

A //static// property is one that is **not** connected to live or historical data.

These properties are stored in the ARDI database, so they are very useful for searching or performing analytical functions.

Certain ARDI extensions (addons) may //synchronise// ARDI with external systems. In this case, the synchronisation process makes **copies** of the data in the external system in ARDI itself. This means that although they come from an external system originally, they are still considered static because they are still stored within the ARDI database.
