====Point Queries====

**Point** queries are simplest and most common type of query used. They allow you to create a time series around just one asset (the 'point').

When you make a Point query, you choose the asset to base the point on, then the property you would like to show. For example, the below chart shows the value of **Stove #1.Temperature**.

The system will help you use auto-complete to fill in the asset and property name.

The [[Current Point]] query type is very similar, but it only shows the //most recent// value for the property, regardless of the current query range.
