====Scheduling Report Distribution====

Once you have a [[report bundles|bundle]] and one or more [[setting_up_subscriptions_and_delivery_methods|subscriptions]], you can schedule your report(s) for distribution.

===Using the Scheduled Addon===

To do this, we **strongly** suggest using the ARDI [[scheduled:Welcome|Scheduled]] addon, which makes creating, modifying and maintaining your report schedules much easier.

Using the addon, you'll go through the following steps...

   * Create a new Scheduled Task with an appropriate name (ie 'Send Daily Summary'),
   * Pick 'Send a Report' as the action to perform and hit **Save**,
   * Choose the bundle to send and the official title of the report (ie. 'Daily Summary') and hit **Save**.
   * Find the task in the list, click on 'Disabled' and then choose an appropriate time for the event.

===Manually===

However, we still support the legacy [[schedule_your_reports|manual method]] for those who wish to trigger their reports directly from their OS task scheduler or a 3rd party system.

This can be done by calling a specific URL (//<sitename>///reportlist/transmit) with the correct parameters.
