====LTHist====

The **LTHist** function is part of the [[Trigger]] class. 

It allows you to perform a simple 'less than' comparison that includes hysteresis, to prevent your [[condition function|condition function]] from //flickering// on and off when values are near thresholds.

===Parameters===

^Name^Description^
|value|The value you want to compare|
|threshold|The threshold you want to compare against|
|span|The amount of hysteresis|

//In this example **condition function**, the value is being compared against '50. When the value goes under 50, the output changes to True. //

//It will **continue** to output True until the value rises to 60 (the **threshold** plus the **span**)//
