The process of making a Limit Analytic is almost identical to making a [[example_control_basic|control analytic]].

The only real difference is that the control analytic takes slightly different parameters.

A control analytic takes the **actual** measurement, the **target** and a **tolerance** amount.

A limit analytic takes the **actual** measurement and both an **upper** and **lower** threshold.
