Adding a Notification

First, you'll need to go to the notification settings under Administration.

Next, choose what alerts you want to notify about.

You can choose to notify based on a single alert, all alerts or alerts that match a pattern.

Then either choose the alert from the list or enter the text you'd like to match with. For example, if you wanted to send notifications of any alert containing the word 'Critical' or 'Low Level'.

Our Preferred Provider

Signl4 Event Notifications

Signl4 offers an online service that takes events and sends notifications to people in your organisation.

Rather than only going to a fixed email, phone number or channel, these can then be directed to the people who are on-call or on-shift via app, SMS, email or phone. It tracks acknowledgements and comments and can automatically assign alert types and priorities.

Apprise Notifications

The Apprise addon uses the Python Apprise library (<https://github.com/caronc/apprise>) to send out notifications of ARDI alerts.

This gives administrators a huge range of possible destinations for alerts and gives the ability to logging, recording and automated responses to alerts across a wide variety of platforms.
