Timeline Graph

The timeline graph is a graphical representation of the events that happened during your time window.

Unlike the event list, which doesn't give you any idea of when or how often the events occurred, the timeline graph shows each incident.

Event Icons

There are a number of different icons you might see on the Timeline.

SymbolEventDescription
RiseA sharp increase in value
DropA sharp decrease in value
UnstableSharp increases and decreases
PeakA peak in value that then returns to normal
TroughA trough in value that then returns to normal
ControlA loss of control
MiscUnknown or multiple different events
PatternA matched pattern

Interacting with the Timeline

Hovering your mouse over any of the icons on the timeline will give you details about what event happened, when, and which assets it happened to.

Left-click on the icon to lock your tooltip in place - this will let you click on the asset names and event descriptions, so you can see them in the Data Explorer.

Interacting with the Legend

At the bottom of the screen are lists of the different properties in your timeline and some of the different types of event. Clicking on the checkboxes will toggle those particular properties or types on and off.

This allows you to remove excess noise and focus on specific issues.
