Using the Asset Index
You can open the Asset Index by clicking on Asset Index in the ARDI sidebar.
Choose How To Search
We've tried to make the index work in a very flexible, organic way.
There are two main ways to search for assets. You can search based on property value or based on type.
Either way, choose the appropriate option from the drop-down list.
You'll then be able to refine your search and pick extra columns of information by toggling options on and off by clicking them with your mouse.
By Type
You can search through your asset types to get a list of assets that perform the same job (ie. 'Pressure Gauge').
When searching by type, you'll be shown every asset of that type, along with any sub-types. For example, if you choose the type 'valve', you'll be shown all different kinds of valves (ie. ball valves, isolation valves, control valves etc.).
By Property Value
If you choose a property, you'll then be prompted to select one or more values from a list.
For example, if you choose 'Manufacturer', you'll then be able to select between every available manufacturer in the system to filter your list. If you choose 'Mode', you'll be able to pick between 'Auto' and 'Manual'.
You may select more than one value at the same time.
Adding More Properties
Once you've got search results, you'll be able to choose additional columns to add to your table.
These are based on the properties and relationships of the assets. For example, you might have filtered by manufacturer, but you'd like to see model number and serial number in your resulting list.
You can toggle individual columns on and off by clicking them.
In the above example, we are searching for all assets with a Burner Status of 'Lit', and showing the Equipment Tag and Location of each matching asset.
Exporting the List
Press the Download CSV File button to download your resulting table. Note that this will only appear once you have valid search results.
