ARDI AR User Guide

ARDI AR makes it easy to access asset information - simply look at your equipment through your smartphone or other portable device.

To do this, we use markers that uniquely identify your devices. ARDI can use barcodes, QR codes and NFC tags, but AR markers are the most powerful of the options.

Our version is Augmented Reality is deliberately very basic - it's designed to get you information quickly, easily and safely.

AR is designed to be simple to use. Follow the steps below…

1) Open your ARDI server in the web browser (ie. Chrome, Safari etc) on your portable device.

2) Select AR from the sidebar (you might need to press the button in the top-left corner to open the sidebar on small-screen devices).

3) Flip your phone over into 'landscape' (so it's wider than it is tall).

4) First Time Only Say Yes or Allow When Visiting This Site to use your camera.

Then, point your camera towards one of the AR markers that have been set up in your system. The asset will be identified on-screen, and you can touch its name to bring up detailed information.
