Avoiding Featureless Areas
When converting a video to a panorama, there can be issues when you have large, featureless areas such as plain walls that take up the entire frame of the camera.
Because the system uses movement in your image to re-construct the movement of the camera, large areas without any features cause issues - the featureless areas are 'squashed' into small parts of the image.
Note that this is only true of plain, painted or rendered walls. Solid walls with features and variation (ie. stamped metal, brick etc.) will work without any issues.
You can resolve this by adding some temporary features to your wall (ie, a printout of a logo with double-sided tape) to surfaces causing the issue.
