Try MCP with Claude

Claude from Anthropic is one of the only online platforms that lets you use MCP servers without custom code or paying for subscriptions, so it's our suggested platform for testing ARDIs MCP capabilities.

If you haven't already, visit https://claude.ai and register for an account. Fortunately, free accounts allow you to connect to a single MCP server.

In the sidebar on the left, open Customize.

From the sidebar again, choose the second option - Connectors.

Press the '+' button next to the Connectors title, and choose Add Custom Connector.

For the name, just call it “ARDI”.

For the URL, enter https://demo.optrix.com.au/mcp.

Press 'Add'.

You're now connected to our Paint Line demo system, and can go back to asking questions.

You might need to know where to start. The Paint Line is a system that applies several layers of coating/pant to a strip of metal. There are a number of parts to the system (see here), among them are bridles.

Bridles are used to help move the strip and keep it tightly tensioned. It's vital that they closely manage their speed.
