Try MCP with Claude

Claude from Anthropic (https://claude.ai) is one of the only online platforms that lets you use MCP servers without custom code or paying extra, so it's our suggested platform for testing ARDIs MCP capabilities.

Register for an Account

If you haven't already, visit https://claude.ai and register for an account. Fortunately, free accounts allow you to connect to a single MCP server.

Open Connectors

In the sidebar on the left, open Customize.

From the sidebar again, choose the second option - Connectors.

Press the '+' button next to the Connectors title, and choose Add Custom Connector.

Enter Server Details

For the name, just call it “ARDI”.

For the URL, enter https://demo.optrix.com.au/mcp.

Press 'Add'.

Try Some Questions

You're now connected to our Paint Line demo system, and can go back to asking questions.

The Paint Line demo, it's a system that applies several layers of coating/pant to a strip of metal. There are a number of parts to the system, among them are bridles.

Bridles are used to help move the strip and keep it tightly tensioned. It's vital that they closely manage their speed.

Let's find out a bit about them.

Try asking…

Tell me about Bridle 3.

Let's dive a little deeper - why not try…

How's the speed control on roller 2?

Found A Problem?

Found something wrong?

LLMs are unpredictable. Sometimes a slight change in phrasing makes it do some very odd things.

Our MCP service is always being extended and optimised to suit new problems and deal with a range of different LLM models.

If you've found an odd behaviour or need extra capability, please contact us - send us a copy of the prompt you're using, and we'll look into new tools (or refining existing ones) to help make the system work better.
