Setting a Default Camera Position

There are a few steps you can follow to set the default camera position for ARDI-VE.

Note that this default only applies to the current user & computer that you're using - it doesn't apply to all users on the system or all ARDI-VE clients.

First, navigate to the camera position you want to save. This can to any fixed point in the scene, or it can be in orbital mode around the object.

If you save a camera that is orbiting a moving piece of equipment, the camera will zoom back in to that piece of equipment when you next open ARDI-VE.

Press the Save Camera button to save this camera for later use.

A box will open asking for the name of the camera. Enter the name Default (with a capital D where possible), and the current camera position will be restored every time you open ARDI-VE.
