Moment-To-Moment Comparison

In some cases, you're not interested in comparing periods of time like you do in most of the other forms of comparison we offer.

Instead, you're interested in specific moments or sample times.

This is quite common when you're trying to understand interactions between parts of your process, such as how product type effects temperatures, or how environmental conditions influence your quality.

It's also very common when trying to measure and model how your process works, such as how effective your heating and cooling systems are.

To open the page, go to any asset dashboard and press Compare, followed by Compare Moments.

The system will automatically select a number of properties you might want to view. You can manually add extra properties using the control provided - just start typing the asset name and you'll be guided to the individual property to include.

Then enter the times you want to compare using the control at the bottom of the screen, and press 'Add'.

After a second or so, data will be loaded into the page showing the value(s) at that moment in time. You can add other moments to easily compare 'before' and 'after' or different sample times.

You can then export this data directly to a CSV file for use in analysis.
