Dashboard Types

There are a few distinct types of dashboard that Data Explorer will create for you.

Live

Live dashboards show current values and will automatically update as new information comes in.

They're intended to let you know what is going on at the moment, so you can watch the behaviour of your assets as-it-happens.

Historical

Historical dashboards show values over time.

These are used if you want to review how your assets have behaved across a period of time, when looking for unexpected behaviour or trying to understand how your systems operated during an event.

Note that ARDI Timeline is now available to assist when you are trying to find the root causes of an issue.

Analytic

Analytic dashboards are designed to provide very specific views of your data, such as comparisons between points.

These are less interactive than either the live or historical dashboards, but can provide specific insights into your process and how your assets are interacting with one-another.
