Distance

The documentation will sometimes refer to distance when it comes to correcting lag.

Although distance-between-sensors is one of the most common causes of lag, please note that you don't have to be dealing with actual length measurements when we refer to distance.

The source of your lag could be looking at any rate or total, such as liquid or gas flows, pollution levels, number of produced units etc.

When the documentation refers to 'distance', we mean the difference in the source value between two points.

For example, there might be a pipe between machine A & B which has a volume of 27L. If you're compensating for lag using the flow of liquid through your system , that 27L would be the distance from A to B.

You choose a distance when calling AddQuery.
