Local Network Diagrams

Local network diagrams are one of the two types of network diagram provided by the Network addon.

This type of diagram can show all of the relationships - including many layers of great-grandchildren and parents - of an asset in a single visualisation.

Accessing

You can access a local diagram by clicking on the 'Local Network' button that appears on any diagram page of a physical relationship.

You can also open it from the global network diagram by clicking on an asset and selecting Inputs and Outputs.

Understanding the Diagrams

These diagrams show how your assets are connected across many different relationships.

They are a very useful way of displaying complex, branching relationships such as your ARDI Location relationship, or anywhere that energy flows such as air, water or power systems.

Each relationship has its own colour - use the legend at the bottom of the page to understand what each different colour means.

Interacting

You can change the depth (the layers of children and grandchildren displayed) using the drop-list at the top of the page.

You can click on any asset name to change the focus of the diagram to that asset - allowing you to navigate through your relationships.
