Tracking Node

This node is exclusive to the Shear Tracking module.

It's the final output module for shear tracking - it takes your current shearer position, cutting details and key properties of your wall to make a shear tracking table and event source.

Inputs

Value (Input #1) is a number that indicates the position (in roof supports) of the shearer.
MGCut (Input #2) is a true or false value. If true, it means you're currently cutting from Maingate to Tailgate.
TGCut (Input #3) is a true or false value. It true, it means you're current cutting from Tailgate to Maingate

Options

Please note that all option values are measured in roof supports

The mg option is the roof support at which your shearer is considered 'in the maingate' - a shear isn't really complete until it reaches this point. Usually this is 6 or 7 supports in from the end.

The tg option is the same for the tailgate end. Just like the mg option, this is usually 6 or 7 supports in from the tailgate end.

The tolerance option is used to enter how much movement we expect out of the MG or TG before we decide the next shear has been started. This should always be at least 1.2x the expected travel during a double-cut (ie. if you double-cut back to support 10, this should be set to at least 12).

Notes

During operation, you might notice that the current shear (when it is still incomplete) might be abnormally long. This is because the algorithm doesn't consider the shear finished until after the shearer leaves the gate-end on it's trip to the other side.
