Tracking Hotspots
The Line Tracking analytic uses hotspots. A hotspot is a single point on your line that is then tracked along the path of your graph.
For each hotspot, you get a list of the assets in the line, and the time that the hotspot passes by each one.
Adding a new hotspot to your line is called dropping a hotspot. You can use logic to choose when you'd like to drop hotspots at the start of your path.
For example, you can have a hotspot for each batch of product, of a change of order, recipe or product type.
This allows you to create synchronised reporting for products or batches.
