Bar Charts

Bar Charts are the standard way of looking at the live value of an analogue channel in a dashboard panel.

The height of the bar indicates the value of the channel (or channels, as this type of panel can show several channels at once).

If you've set up a custom colour gradient in ARDI, these bars will also change colour to match that colour scheme.

This chart will update dynamically as new data arrives. It will smoothly animate between the old and new value.

Interactions

With The Bar

Hover your mouse over the bar to see details of the channel.

Left-click on an individual bar to open the navigation menu for that channel.

This allows you to follow that channel to the asset it belongs to, trend it over time, compare it to other points of data, or view other values like it across your system.

Right-click on the bar to open the editing menu for that channel. This will allow you to change the type of the chart, as well as moving the channel to a different panels.

NOTE: Even if the bar isn't visible, you can interact with the entire space where the bar could be when the value is at maximum.

With the Background

Left-clicking on the background opens the same navigation menu as clicking on an individual channel, but this time your choices apply to every channel in the panel rather than just one.
