Backup and Restore
While we do provide backup and restore functionality, please note that the main intention of these features is to allow ARDI databases to be moved, normally from development to production servers.
While the system is reliable, we suggest using bare-metal recovery strategies (such as regularly backing up images of your virtual machine) as your primary method of backup. This allows you to bring your ARDI server (along with its license) back online in the shortest possible time.
You can backup your ARDI database from the Administration page. Simply choose 'Backup Database' and follow our backup instructions.
Once you have ARDI correctly installed, you'll be able to follow the restore instructions.
