Creating Properties
Properties can be created from the properties list under Administration.

| Property Type | Explanation |
|---|---|
| ID Number / Code | A unique identifier for the asset. This may be the identity of the asset in other information management systems |
| Plain Text | Plain text. Often used for model numbers, manufacturer names, drawing IDs, serial numbers etc. |
| An Analogue Value or Measurement | An analogue/continuous value (ie 2.5, 9.8 99.4) |
| A Digital / Boolean Value | A digital value - 0 or 1 |
| A Discrete Value / Enumeration | A set of discrete values (eg. 0,1,2,3 & 4) |
| Lookup From A Table | Lookup a value from a long list |
Once you create your property, you will need to assign it to one or more assets.
