Changing the Default Site

This feature is only available in ARDI 2025.0.2 and above.

In some cases, you might want to change the URL of the default ARDI site from 'default' to something more meaningful.

You can do this via an environment variable setting.

Set the ARDIDEFAULTSITE environment variable to the name of the site folder you want to use. For example, you could rename the folder 'default' site folder to 'home' and then set the ARDIDEFAULTSITE environment variable to 'home'.

NOTE: You will need to restart your HTTP service for the change to take effect.

In Multi-Site Environments

It's important to note that your default site contains shared information across your different ARDI sites in multi-site systems that are integrated.

This means that changing the default site in an integrated environment may change your username and password list.
