Auto Historian Link

While some data sources are only suitable for live data and others are only suitable for historical, there are times - particularly with databases - where your sources can be both.

When both your live and your historical source share the same address (for example, the data for the value of the temperature in device R9925 is R9925_Temp for both a particular live data source and the historian), then you can use this addon to radically speed up setting up your data links.

Like many addons, you can configure this one via the Administration menu.

When you enter the configuration for the addon, simply choose the matching historian for each of your live data sources.

Then, every time you assign live data to your asset, if there's a matching historian specified your history data is also automatically linked too.
