Deleting Relationships Between Assets

If you've created a relationship between two assets that is incorrect or has changed, you'll need to delete it.

There are two ways you can do this - from the diagram, or the details for your asset.

Deleting from the Diagram

Visit the child (downstream) asset in the relationship and view it's diagram.

The top button (the ‘+’ symbol with the arrow at the top) inserts an asset into position between the parent(s) and the child.

The bottom one (the ‘x’ symbol) deletes a relationship between parent and child.

Simply click on the ‘x’. You will be prompted to confirm your action, and if the asset has more than one parent you’ll be asked to nominate which of the parents you are trying to remove.

Deleting from the Details

Alternatively, if you open the asset details and press Relationships, you’ll see a list of every relationship your asset has.

If you click on the ‘minus’ button next to the name of the asset you’re connected to, it will remove the relationship immediately.
